You have to remove the intake (and the manifold) just to get to them. They are on the engine like every other car but access is trying because you can't even see them until you start removing the above items. If you still aren't sure where all of this is, follow the plug wires from the coil pack to the plugs. If it does not have wires, it will have individual coils on top of each plug. Unbolt each coil and pull it up. The plug is under it. On your V6, they should be located on the side.
This is very tricky on this vehicle. It is, of course, recommended to take it to a shop. Some special tools may be required.

Each plug has it's own coil. There will be 3 coils mounted on each side of the engine. They are located under the coils. You may have to remove the intake manifold to get to the rear plugs. Big job, may want to consider going to the dealer. Probably about a $450 repair(ouch).

Where are the spark plugs located in an 2002 Mazda tribute

On a Mazda Tribute you must remove the plastic engine cover. Once that is removed you should see the spark plugs. They will be on the top of the engine with caps on them. you must undo the cap and remove it on each spark plug to have access to the spark plug.

Wheres the spark plugs on my 03 mazda tribute v6

They are under the ignition coils on each side of the engine. The left bank (front of engine compartment)can be relaced by removing the plastic cover then removing the connectors and bolts from the 3 ignition coils. The right bank (rear of engine compartment requires removal of the upper intake plenum to acess the coils.
