2000 mitsubishi montero sport ls, 4wd. how difficult is changing the front brakes and surfacing/ changing rotors vs. american cars? should i really spend $500 at a shop or can driveway mechanics do this?
It is easy to change even you can change it your just going to take off the front wheel then you will see the break panel there's a bolt holding the break pad loose it so can pull the break pad out... or more or less even a driveway mechanic can do this for less cost...

thanks for the blind comment. there are bearings and axel end parts to disasemble to get the rotor off this vehicle. you need grease pack tool (preferable) and some knowlage of 4x4 axels. luckey my garage mech. could do this with just one trip to the store.
