When a new computer is installed there will often be drivability problems while the computer is learning what the proper settings are for the numerous components and functions it controls. Just drive it as you normally would and you should notice improvements. There is a lot for it to learn so it may take a week or even longer to learn everything, because there are some functions that have infrequent demand. If you do not see any improvements, the computer may be defective.I hope you made certain there was no moisture in the computer connector, the best way to assure that would be to spray it well with a contact cleaner and blow it out with air, if there was dielectric grease on the connector becertain you reapply it.

Be certain both battery cables are disconnected before removing or install the connector on the computer, if you remove only the ground and it makes contact with metal it could turn on the computer through the a chassis ground and the always hot wire. I assume you made certain the leak into the glove box is fixed, right?

well I.changed.the computer w battery connected.:s. anywaya changed.the coil cable adjusted.it.well.. everything is more than smooth now but I did something bad I guess I sent it to a shop who cleaned.the injectors because.the car.was.suffocating as.if something.stuck in the exaust and accelration at all anyway. he cleaned.em but without the computer. it didnt fix the clogging feeling or performance thats when we changed the coil with distributor cable and the mechanic adjusted.it well. the performance is even.better than before. fast accleration But im facing a major fuel consumption I used.to drive 120 kilo.meter for 12 litres now 35 kilometers for 6 litres ... when I checked.the exaust at the back I smelled fuel when.u look carefully u notice a.white very light smoke its almost like spray but it smells like fuel.. so thw car is dropping.fuel like crazy now

SOURCE: Clutch/transmission issue ISSUE

I had a problem with my 06 Tib engaging gears properly and noticed that my clutch pedal felt weird, the dealer replaced a clutch master cylinder under warranty and now gears engage flawlessly and my clutch works like new again at 50K miles. If you have no warranty left, this would run you about 150.00.

SOURCE: Engine malfunction on rainy days

find a dark place to work, with the lights out start the engine and spray it down with water, chek for arcing, the turn engine off spray it down again then start it and check again, my guess is a spark leak but engine heat evaporates it when running

P0560 on rainy days

f570b06a-74b9-4fc6-8220-64a4489a3bfb.jpgThe battery supplies electricity to the ECM even when the ignition switch is OFF. This electricity allows the ECM store data such as DTC history, freeze frame data, fuel trim values, and other data. If the battery voltage falls below a minimum level, the ECM will conclude that there is a fault in the power supply circuit. At the next engine start, the ECM will turn on the MIL and a DTC will be set. 55e61f40-0a9c-4e5b-af78-52871cb6da9f.jpg 006871ee-be76-4044-96cf-accc2f40d19a.jpg 02652732-0889-4139-9d3e-0e4108b855e8.jpg
