This code is usually caused by a failing camshaft position sensor which can cause stalling. I'd start by replacing sensor and cleaning out throttle body with cleaner and rag.

I have a PT 2010 & the diagnostic codes are PO340, PO344 and PO325. mechanic is suggesting replacing the cam shaft post sensor & didn't even mention the knock sensor. Am I dealing with 1 or 2 issues

you are dealing with 2 issues
code p 0325 refers to knock sensor (KS) 1 bank 1--circuit malfunction ====causes ---wiring ---poor connection ---KS
code p 0340 refers to camshaft position sensor(CMP) sensor A bank 1--circuit malfunction===causes wiring--- CMP sensor ---ECM
code p 0344 refers to CMP sensor A bank 1 --circuit intermittent===causes --wiring --poor connection---CMP sensor --ECM
check wiring and connections before replacing the CMP as the wiring may be the cause of all the codes

I got diagnostic trouble codes P0108,P0121,P0340 what does it means and give me the remedial action for that

Here is what each of your trouble codes means:

DTC P0108 MAP Sensor Range check High
DTC P0121 TPS Circuit Range/Performance Problem
DTC P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
Do you know how long each of these codes have been stored? Each one of these codes relate to a different part of the vehicle.

Your PO108 codes is probably a faulty Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor
PO121 is a Throttle Position Sensor malfunction code
PO340 is a Camshaft Position Sensor malfunction code

I would not think that all 3 of these codes all set at the same time, just wouldnt make sense unless there was a problem with the Engine Control Module (ECM) causing all these codes to set at the same time.

I got 2 codes from friends diagnostic machine .... po340 and po 344 could you tell me what they are for?

P0340-P0345 aeall for the "camshaft" postion sensor. It is going out, or a wire to it is intermittantly shorting against a ground. But, is DEFINATELY in the camshaft postion sensor.

I have a 2000 chrysler concorde that the engine light just popped on - the error codes are po302, po420, po340

P0302-cylinder #2 misfire detected
P0420- catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1
P0340-No cam signal at PCM.
The Cam sensor most likely needs to be replaced first. Clear the codes after that and drive and see what comes back on.

1995 Windstar OBD II showing codes PO340, PO171, and PO174

Hello;
With those codes, the first place I would check is the fuel pressure. Also check the fuel filter and replace it if you haven't already. Then clear codes and recheck. Even if your fuel pressure is with in range it still may not push enough fuel to operate your vehicle.

Sensor "A" Error Messages

I would suggest replacement of your camshaft sensor as the first line of action, of course check your wiring and connectors first by unplugging them and plugging them back in.I will be glad to help you further if this doesn't solve your problem!
