I have a 05 Chevy Malibu. I took out the rear seat cushion for cleaning and broke the two plastic latches that the seat snaps into. How do I replace these?

It needs to be pushed back hard, from the front bottom to get the brackets to pop into the slots-I kneel, facing the cushion, on the rear floor (have to move the front seats forward) and use my knee to push the cushion into the slots.

I removed the back seat seat cushion for cleaning and broke the two plastic latches that snaps the seat cushion down in the front. How can I replace those plastic latches on my 2005 Chevy Malibu?

most likely a local upholstery shop will be able to repair, but if you are handy several (black uv resistant) tie raps (cable ties) will do the trick too. Be creative the ties are very strong

My 06 malibu rear seat will not go down due to stuck switch

Push on the seat to the rear while pulling the cable release. Sounds like latch is adjusted too tight. If this works make adjustment before putting the seat back up. Open trunk & you should also be able to get to the speakers and the latch for the seat back. May require a screwdriver or something narrow & long to push on the latch arm while another person pushes & pulls the seat back to unlatch.

How do you replace drive indecator light

1. Lift the little carpet in the console rear to the automatic gear shift. Pry with a small flat screwdriver will do the job.2. Remove the three Philips head screws.3. Remove one Philips head screws on each side of the rear console, they are located at the bottom front of the rear console panel. You may have to move the driver and passenger seat back to see the screws.4. Grab the back of the rear console and gently wiggle, pull backward and lift upward. Pull the hand brake so it is easier to remove the loosened rear console panel. 5. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry the rectangular 'cushion' around the automatic gear shift. Gently pry at various spot and the rectangular 'cushion' will come off easily.6. Now you are just one more plastic cover away from the burned bulb. The plastic cover that has those 'P'ark, 'R'everse, 'D'rive letters is held in place by four snap on latches. Use a small flat head screwdriver and gently push the black latches inward in a downward motion, once the screwdriver head gets inside the grey latch holder it will free the black latch. Work on each of the four latches in turn.7. Wiggle the plastic cover until it is completely loosened from the four latches. Gently lift the plastic cover up. The automatic gear shift will stop the plastic from being lifted out completely. You still have enough room to work with. You will see the little burned bulb directly below those 'P'ark, 'R'everse, 'D'rive letters. Gently pull the bulb out. I got my replacement bulb at Canadian Tire, Motomaster instrument replacement bulb 194LL (clear, long lasting, 2 bulbs for $2.99Cdn). It is a push-on bulb.8. Test the bulb by starting your car and dash lights.9. Snap back the plastic 'P'ark, 'D'rive cover. Put back the rear console panel and finally the rectangular 'cushion' around the automatic gear shift.

grab the bottom of the cushion just under the lip of the back seat and pull it towards the front of the vehicle and then up. Saturn uses little plastic clips to hold the cushions down to the rear molding.

Replace rear seat belt in 1993 Toyota Corolla

OK. On the front edge of the seat bottom cushion, pull up hard, both sides. This will dislodge the 2 clamps that holds the seat cushion to the floor. Pull the seat cushion out & set it aside. You will now see the female latches bolted to the area where the rear of the seat cushion meets the rear seat back bottom. Remove the bolts (14 mm I think).
