SOURCE: rear speakers stopped working
my speakers went out front and rear i was told by an audio tech. that the systems that chevrolet put in them each speaker has its own amp to bust the sound the only way to fix it is to replace them.
if you have a warranty chevrolet will replace them otherwise find a junk yard or new system. i ordered a set of used speakers off ebay havent installed yet.
SOURCE: 04 trailblazer, NO AIR coming through vents.
once a year you want to check the antifreeze/ freeon in your cooling system. from my understanding the cooling and heating system require this to function properly. they sell cans of this stuff at walmart that you can put in yourself.
SOURCE: 2006 chevy trailblazer heater blower motor not working
You might wanna check and make sure the heater switch didn't go bad. It could even be the blower motor itself.
SOURCE: 2002 Trailblazer blower not working
The blower motor resistor card is located under the glove box. You have to take the bottom panel from underneath the glove box out(be careful not to break the wire clip that holds the wires in place on that panel). Once you take the panel loose look in the back. You will see the blower motor. Behind the blower motor is the card. You will need a 9/32 for the panel and a 7/32 for the card. It is only 4 screws total to remove and 2 wire harness clips. It is about a 15 minute job. Good luck and hope this helps. Auto Zone has the part for around $15.00 and will have the step by step instrutions for you also if you need it free of charge. I think the dealer charges $109.00 for this repair.
SOURCE: Front heat does not work, rear heat does?
I'm just a regular diy'er, no training. Had same problem, 2001 Suburban, front blew cool air when heating, rear heat warmed up nicely. After reading other posts on other boards, took off the the heater hose clamps (make sure you remember which is which) at the firewall. With low pressure garden hose flushed left inlet/outlet first till I got good flow, then the right side, and back to left. Reattached hoses, started and tested. Heat blows just fine. I can't think of anything that could be damaged by this, but check with someone who know something first before trying it on your vehicle, but it worked for me. So far so good.
