I need to replace my abs module on my 2002 x type jaguar, can you use modules from other x type jags.

If your ABS light is on in your 2002 Jaguar X-Type, it's likely because the ABS Control Module has failed and needs to be replaced. The good news is that you can use an ABS Control Module from another Jaguar X-Type as a replacement, as long as it's from the same year. Simply remove the old module and install the new one in its place. If your Jaguar is still under warranty, you may be able to have the dealer replace the module for free.

My son has a 2005 Jaguar X Type...the brake and abs lights stay on plus the abs pump doesn't shut off when the car is off?

My best guess is a Speed / ABS sensor, it must keep sending a signal to the pump to kick in. If thats not it, i would take a shot in the dark and say ABS pump is getting stuck.. (The second is a GUESS, dont take my word for it please)
Jaguar / Ford can diagnose it, and tell you "Left rear sensor" or something.. Then just go and do the work yourself (If you have the "Know how" )

Abs light comes on each time after the car warms

Your first check must be hooking it up to retrieve the codes. There is no way possible to know what this is without these codes. There are about 40 different ABs codes this car can store.

Could be your Rear ABS sensors , as that is the sensor that works for ABS and Traction control.

Jaguar xj6 bad abs relay blowing the fuse

Could do. I think the ABS relay is housed in the same box as the starter relay. If so, you could have a blown fuse box link. Find the starter relay and see if it clicks when someone else turns the key to start. If not, see if there are volts on to the relay (there should be voltage on one side of the contacts when the ignition is on), there should also be volts on the coil when the ignition is turned to start. If not, check whether there is power to the fuse box (fuse links might have blown). If no power to coil, check gearbox park interlock switch - there is not much that stops a starter motor from turning, even in a sophisticated car like a Jaguar.
