13 to 15vdc running good ALT.
I say all that because cars main voltage goes to 10vdc many vital computer can fail or go nuts, (random errors not real)

check all fuses
scan the PCM
test the battery and ALTr
if still bad find a better shop.
trywww.autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you
