There should be a square hole for a 3/8 ratchet or a octagon for a wrench to remove th adapter. Some had allen wrench fittings which would be a recessed octagon

What courses a oil coolant preesuer light come on and cut off the engine after driving at least 15km with my audi 3a fsi 2.0l 2005 and that you need to let it cool for about an hour befor driving agai

Could be this fancy oil ,like the newer 0/30 multigrades ,try using a straight 40 monograde oil ,you have a pressure problem with the internals and it could be anything from worn oil pump to worn mains ,another trick is too add some winns or STP oil thickener and sell it quick or this will cost a arm and leg to repair ,maybe another engine from a accident damaged car in the scrapyard .

I want to check audi r8 all the oil spec, how??

The engine oil specifications for Audi R8 4.2 FSI V8
- Quantity: 14.2 liter
- Type: Castrol Edge 5W-30
- Oil change intervals: Max. 12 Months / Max. 15000 km

Castrol have developed EDGE 5W-30 in co-operation with the VW Group. This oil sets new standards in the industry in regards to cleanliness of the engine, thereby reducing harmful emissions and subsequent damage to the environment.

The technology in this oil also reduces long term blocking thereby prolonging the life of the diesel particulate filter.

Castrol EDGE 5W-30 is equally suitable for gasoline and diesel vehicles where performance specifications VW 504 00 and 507 00 are demanded.

In addition to its cleaning properties, EDGE 5W-30 antiwear technology provides strong protection for modern FSI, TDI and turbocharged engines.

EDGE 5W-30 is also approved for use in modern BMW and Mercedes gasoline and diesel engines including those equipped with a DPF that require BMW Longlife -04 or MB-Approval 229.51.

Have 2004 audi 2.0 fsi main fan keeps coming on when moving.

because of the shape of the car and temperature within the under bonnet,audi/ vw use the electric fan to maintain a closer tolerance of engine temperature.for maximum economy.so your main fan will come on more often than perhaps an older car that you may have owned.as changing the thermostat has shown no change.

Audi tt 3.2 quattro oil filter change

The insert or cartridge filters are easy to change..You must jack up the front of the car, remove the engine belly pan. in the front of the motor there is a black cylindrical housing for the oil filter cartridge..On the bottom is a cap that just screws off..Unscrew the cap, take it off, slide the old insert off, then slide the new one on..Screw the cap back on and voila! you are finished..If the insert came with a new rubber o-ring, make sure to replace the old one on the cap.
