VW Touareg dash lights & alarms but no fault

Sounds like bad wiring or soldering job on the printed circuit board. Chevy and Dodge were notorious for their clusters and lights going out also. Hitting the top of your dash will only make whatever is failing, fail quicker and could even cause it to short out and completely burn up the wires and instrument panel. You could try buying another panel from a junkyard and putting it in your car. It would tell you if the problem is in the wiring or in the cluster itself.

The light is telling you that there is a problem in the engine management system. Have the fault codes read and fix the faulty sensor/servo

not trying to offend you,but definitely get out your owners manual and find the page that tells you how to shift or what buttons to push for your all wheel drive system.

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

this is one of those occasions when you need to get the car on the diagnostic computer.asap.we would all be guessing and costing you at the same time...

Error code 4195 in your Touareg indicates that there is an Air conditioning problem.

Let an AC expert take a look at the blower, condenser and the AC pipe lines.

computer might be bad and a bit pricy. there should be a secound throttel cable make sure their both attatched

Check your brake fluid level as this would bring this light on the dash if its low

try taking the negative off the battery for 20 secs then put it back on and try it
