It's probably not dripping from the crankshaft... it would drip from the water pump just on top of it...

to check if it is done, take a flashlight and spot on top of the water pump. there should be a hole on top of it behind the pulley...

if it is damp, the pump is gone....

if not it might leak from the gasket...

What problems would a bad heater core cause

A bad heater core could cause a couple of isses. If it is plugged internaly you would get no heat. If it is leaking you would have anti-freeze dripping into the cab on the right side or dripping under the car in the area of the right floor board.

My 07 impala is losing anti freeze but nobody can find a leak anywhere how can i solve this problem

if cant find any spots on the ground an you're still losing anti-freeze, from my experience its always been the headgasket, if the headgasket isnt fully blown out your car will seem like its running fine an burn the antifreeze up during the combustion stroke of the engine, or it could be leaking onto the exhaust. check to see if theres any puddles of anti-freeze on top of the engine an check for leaks around the heads. if there is no puddles of leaks it could be your antifreeze is leaking into the engine an burning up during the combustion stroke

I drained the cooling system and refilled with antifreeze. Now it runs hot. I know the water pump and thermostat are ok

If you filled it with straight anti-freeze, it will run hot. Anti-freeze needs to be diluted with water to work properly. Use the guidelines on the jug to figure the proper mixture for your area. If unsure, usually 50-50 is a good mix (but I live in the SE US). I was guilty of the straight anti-freeze usage in the '80's and was told I had to mix it...and when I did, everything worked properly.
Hope this helps...if you didn't use straight antifreeze, then this is of no help :)

Steam from antifreeze coming from right side of engin

I would check the hoses in that area. It maybe the the water pump bearing shaft seal. There is usually a small drain hole towards the bottom of the pump, that will leak anti-freeze when the seal goes bad. With an inspection mirror, you may be able to see if anti-freeze is leaking from the pump.

Anti-freeze is leaking from engine 1999 plymouth voyogar

Have someone top off the cooling system and run a pressure test to find the leak. There are a lot of places it could leak from. Do you see coolant dripping on the ground and if so in what area of the vehicle is it coming from? Front, center, right side behind tire? Need more info to be of any help.
