unhook battery pos and neg touch both cables together to decharge computers and clear eng lights touch together for 1 min. Then hook cables back to battery try to start hope that helps
MAKE SURE BOTH CABLES ARE OFF BATTERY
if that does not work it could be a ignition switch or cyinder make sure you get it scanned for codes to deterime that.
I think on those , there is a swich on the steering colum under the dash. A white box with wiring . Not real certain on that. Take the plastic covers off the bottom of the colum and dash, work your key on ond off and see where it is moving. Or get a shop manual. Just trying to help lol. Hope that helps
the problem may be a bad ignition switch. 50% of the time the switch goes bad and then no spark! to starter. the swich will cause system wide problems. will not stay running and stall out. when a switch fails, power to battery will be cut off, this is what causes the stalling.
Remove battery cables and clean thoroughly leave off for 20 minutes to decharge all capacitors in ecm. Then reconnect and see which codes come back 1st.
Hello, firstly I was wondering if the lights shut off when you pull the switch off the harness? If YES, then THAT switch or wiring could be bad if NO, then it's most likely the body control module
Check your fuse panel first. If not no problem there. Then need to check your dimer switch. That will make your light stop working. If not that, it has to be the main light switch.
