If I pump the cluch pedal it will come in the full height position. I have no problem with the cluch slipping or getting it into gear. How can I diagnose the problem of whether it is the Clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder Any help would be well appreciated. John

you need to bleed your clutch. make sure the cap is on all the way, then have someone press the pedal to floor, open the bleed valve to let air escape and close it back. repeat it 3 or 4 times and it should take of your problem.

its called a clutch fork, and you need to pullout the gearbox to replace, its worth keeping the car if its a good car in general, shouldnt be too hard to remove gearbox, maybe a good mechanic can repair the fork in the car....eg;weld it

You've replaced the master, the slave, now I would check to see if the throwout fork will move by hand. If you can move the fork by hand I would say that your pressure plate and or throwout bearing are worn out. First try to just gravity bleed the system. If that doesnt work, it may be time for a clutch, pressure plate, and bearing. The pressure plate spring pushes the pedal back up and depending on how many miles and driving habit those little arms on it break off and just wear out. I hope this helps you.
