EPC light should have nothing to do with the shift interlock,(EPC is traction control) should be a small cap or plug on the console, near the shifter that has the interlock disengage button,usually done with a key,check shift interlock in the owners manual.
Have you checked the fuses? Usually fuses are grouped up. I know the interior light and radio are typically together in the least, so it might indicate that. If it is a fuse and you replace it and it blows again, you probably have a short.
posiblemente tu problema es un corto electrico rebisa el ultimo trabajo q se hiso en tu carro epesialmente si anadieron algun accesorio electrico o alarma especialmente de dondetomaron la corriente electrica asegurate de que esten bien aislados y no agan contacto con el chassys o body ni con otros cables usando suficiente cinta ailante electrica comiensa abajo del tablero si no encuentras el problema pon tuproblema yteajudaremos con otra formA de encontrar cortos en el systema electrico.
