When the window is not used often or gets a little older the motor can "Hang Up" You might try having someone hold the down switch on the drivers door while you slam the door. This will sometimes jar the motor enough to make the brushes contact and start working.

Problem number one sounds like a dead battery to me. Problem with driver door is the cable in your window regulator is broken and bound up. Will need to replace the regulator. Passenger side window problem could be caused by a number of things... most common that come to mind are window guide not in correct position or one of the bolts that hold the window to the regulator has come loose.

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle,
arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the
panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want
to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to
get it off the window ledge. You can test the switch at this point to see if they work. If not, you can then pull off the
weather seal and access the regulator, motor
inside the door that will be held in by several bolts
The switch will be about $10-20, the regulator and motor will each be $80 plus. Dealer will charge you around $200 just to fix, plus cost for part

Most often on those the motors are shot. as soon as they are activated they overheat and slow down or stop. Only way I know of to repair is to replace them. You will need a manual to do this or do them one at a time so you can check how it goes back together by looking at other one. Motors are riveted in and need to be drilled to remove...use small bolts to re-attach.
I've seen motors online for about $30-40 each.
