My blinkers on my 2000 volvo s80 are currently not working. i have no clue what to do. it also reads my the message of srs airbags.i need help immediatly.
Pullout fuse 20 and 21 and push same back in. This resets the system, this has happened to me.
Pulling the fuse and resetting the steering column module will work, but, it is a temporary fix. The permanent fix is to replace the battery in the trunk since the module acts up when the main battery ages.
The blinkers could be your bulbs, but if there is no "bulb failure" message, its probably a fuse. There are several fuses for light and blinkers. one panel on the left side of your dash ,visible with drivers side door open, and a fuse box under your hood on the drivers side. the SRS is a safety issue and you could have an airbag control module out. but it should be looked at by a dealer only, not a shadetree mechanic.
