Thanks, but coolant is good. Can anyone tell me EXACTLY where the beeper is located, the sound seems to keep moving or neither of us can pin point the spot ?

Check the coolant level in the radiator at the cap as it may be the low coolant warning system that is activated as the water runs away from it as you change direction. If it is serious enough the engine light will come on and the CPU will send the engine into limp home mode.

SOURCE: CRV Reminder beeper not beeping

you should start by checking fuses, switch located on door pillar where door hinges are.sounds like a blown fuse or bad beeper,

Testimonial: "This helped me fix the problem of a broken switch. The switch had come apart. Removed it , snapped it back together and reinstall it. Everything OK"

2004 Dodge Neon. I hit a curve on the road and now there is a wire hanging on the passenger side behind my headlight anybody knows what it is?

Curves in the road are a common occurrence and cars are easily equipped to go around them.

The wire could be off a number of things, but you can test by turning all the lights on, especially the low level fog lights. Also try the horn, as if I remember correctly it is located above the passenger wheel arch liner.

Engine randomly cut out when going over rough roads/ bumps.

Hello Tori, I think you have a heat related ignition failure. Your truck runs fine until an electrical component warms up and quits running but will restart after it cools down. I suspect you have a bad ignition module and/or bad pick up coil inside of the distributor.

(btw, if only one warning is to be silenced, a different answer....)
key left ijn car, door open. seat belts warn? etc, etc.
head lamps left on, warning, you want to kill that too>>? really?
why? (ive added these to car since 1960)
low fueL, you dont like that?

ok, this is a modification or change in the veh, design.
a hack. and like all hacks varies by year, car and options.
answer 1:
this car . although old has a smart and computer based instrument cluster that uses a 2 wire network communications. (like new cars)
the CCD buss.
I think that means the cluster has its beeper buried deep inside it.
if true, that means you get to hack IT. the cluster. (removed)
you must remove it and then find the beeper (good luck not wrecking the cluster) and then mute it (cut it out, or pack it say in foam or hot glue)

there is no sonic warning module like on far older cars.

the reason is simple , its because now the PCM can see errors
and then send a serial message to the cluster (ccd) and the cluster
then beeps, or beeps in a unique way.

answer 2:
ask your dealer to reprogram your cluster.
they will refuse, for 2 reasons, the law, and their lawyers and insurance company forbids this.

my answer is based off (i did not design it so...)
that cluster has no external beeper
and
all warings are inputs to the cluster
that means to me , the beeper is inside the cluster brain model.

how is my answer, did I cover it fully.
i answer all hacks , for jeeps and other cars. retired ET. I am.

I have 2005 chevy colorada with the 2.8 4 cyl it started running bad all of the sudden check engine came on started rough idle. got the codes read got these 0014 cam sensor,0017crank sensor,101 mass air...

My guess is it's a timing chain problem, especially if it has a lot of miles (140K +) That model engine is notorious for bad timing chains.
I have the same engine and basically have had the same problem. Have a friend with one ('07) - same problem.
It's a pretty expensive problem to repair. Labor (by the Flat-Rate manual) is in the 14hr range plus parts. Used engines with low mileage (60K) are rare and around $2K when you find one.

Car cuts off going down the road

I would take a look at the throttle position sensor being faulty, but I can't explain why there is the only one fault code. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Mazda Tribute 2002 engine cuts out randomly

I had a Mazda 626 with a similar problem, the car seemed to 'shut down' with no warning, even at highway speeds, as if I just turned the ignition key to 'Off'; After trying to fix it unsuccessfully by replacing several electrical parts, the problem was found to be a defective ignition switch, it was replaced and the problem went away.

your probably feeling a rough idle of the engine. need a tune up?

in park the engine is not loaded down, just idling at a low rpm=rough
in drive with brake on you have put some load on motor also at low rpm=rough
in drive on the road engine is at higher rpm, = smoother

generally 4 cylinder motors idle a bit rough, especially if one spark plug is not firing right or fouled or one bad spark plug wire. tune up may fix it. if it is not stumbling real bad or stalling then you can live with it.
