turn the key to the on position a see if you can here a buzzing sound around the fuel tank,if you don't hear a sound then. (be very careful while doing this) with the key off take a fuel line coming from the tank loose, make sure its pointed away from you and turn the key to the on position, see if any gas comes out,if not then your fuel pump is probably bad.

you need to ck some basics you could have a vacuum leak which would hide during warm up but cause havoc when hot,the leak would cause high idle then your pcm would try to lower idle to spec thru use of idle control motor causing surging idle ,also fuel pressure needs to be checked while acting up,may be more cost effective to pay for an hour of diagnostic.

SOURCE: 2003 stratus cam sensor replaced still unresolved

you bypassed the wires that connect to the sensors? that would have been my first guess the harness that plugs into the sensor. after that i would check the ground connection from the ecm. wouldn't hurt to check the battery posts too. if the battery posts are oxidized you can have all kinds of goofy electrical problems. hope that helps.

2003 dodge Dakota 4.7l. High mileage. OBDII throwing a new code everytime I fix something. Crank sensor & Cam sensor - replaced. IAC-replaced. PCM-replaced. Throttle body cleaned. O2...

Have you checked the wiring that goes to both the Crank and Cam sensors? Most of the time the wires are close to a heat source (ie: exhaust manifold) and the plastic covering starts to melt causing the cooper on wires to make contact and thus making engine stop, you will have to take off the protective covering as well as tape around the wires and inspect each and every one. Had same problem with Dodge caravan, it turns out the Crank Sensor plug wires were melted together. Good Luck.

I replaced head gaskets on 2004 dodge dakota. when started it ran rough and lacked acceleration. Code P0300 and o2 sensors showed. replaced all 4 O2 sensors, but still rough idle and code P0300

That's Random or multiple missfire code. Have you checked for proper fuel pressure? Improper fuel pressure will trigger this code if it's too low, thus causing a lean mixture in multiple cylinders.

2003 Dodge Durango (5.9L V8) won't stay running unless you keep your foot on the gas.

Check temp sensor and TPS, throttle positioning sensor. The power control module,"pcm.is a possible thought.Just check all connections. It is always a good idea to spray WD 40 or equivalent in the connections.

Codes p0351, p0352, p0353 and p1391. jeep won't start or runs poorly

The codes you mention 301-302-303 are all misfire in the respective cylinders. you should replace the coil, while you are at it also verify the condition od the sparkplugs.

P1391 c0de 2002 dodge ram van no start

Code P1391 Loss of crank or cam sensors,P0340 No cam signal at the pcm. I would replace the crank sensor first. Your cam sensor is part of the dist. on 5.2/5.9 engines.
Hope that helps.

97 Dodge Ram Pick up cranks ok engine won't run

try checking all the ground circuits comming out of the PCM. and its also not common for a ground driver in the PCM to fail on dodges. also i have seen crankshaft sensors short out and take out pcm communication. so i would start by unplugging any sensor that runs off the 5v supply until the pcm wil talk to the scanner. if you unplug a sensor and communication returns to scanner then replace the sensor. and dont forget to check for good power and ground at the data link conector and PCM
