You need to get your codes read by somebody that know their posterior from six bits...
Sounds like your EXHAUST SYSTEM to me...

Here are the most common causes of idle surge, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake

ok, I pulled the map sensor and it had quite a bit of residue around the actual sensor. I cleaned it (no cleaner, just wiped it out as best I could) and reconnected it. Now it runs, but still will not get over 3krpm. no more hesitation on the acceleration.
ok, now I cleaned the map sensor and re-installed it. It runs great until it hits 3krpm. Keeping the throttle at a constant position the engine will fall to around 2500rpm, then rise again to 3k rpm. I hate to go purchase a map sensor if this is not my problem. any ideas?
and now it is back to not starting unless the mass air flow sensor is unplugged (the one that is between the air filter and the intake)
well then, i guess its off to the dealer on payday :( bye bye paycheck
ok, taking it to the dealer tomorrow. I will post the results incase anyone else has the same problem.
Dealer just called. Replaced the MAP sensor...a $35.00 part. Only cost $122 and change total, including the computer hook up of $85.00.
