Need to locate the fuel pump relay, looked all around the driver side firewall and cannot locate relay, plz help
The Fuel Pump Relay is located in the Glove Box under a little cover on the upper left side. The Fuel Control Relay is the left relay and The Fuel Pump Relay is the right. To test these relays, swap them and then try to start the vehicle, or blow the horn. If the horn blows then use that relay for the pump and you may at least drive the vehicle where needed! If the vehicle starts, then replace them as a pair.

I have a 1994 Chevy Truck WT1500 series. I want to know the location of the fuel pump relay. I have checked the firewall on drivers side and cannot find. It is the last resource in finding my problem of no fuel flow to the filter.
If not the fuel pump relay, then what could it be? I have spark to the plugs...I have no blown fuses...a half tank of gas...the engine just turns over and over...I figure the relay might have gone bad...would like to change first and then if I have same problem..I would let Chevrolet come and get truck to change fuel pump.
Give me reasons on why it is not the relay for the electric fuel pump? I figure to locate the relay and change it. If the problem still exists I then have exhausted all other means and would change the electric fuel pump in the tank. To me, it is part of the logical tree of troubleshooting??
the electric fuel pump has failed in the gas tank, they do fail around the 100,000 mile mark.
I seriously doubt the problem is the relay.
what is the exact model?
