First I havea a 1994 cadillac sedan deville. A couple weeks ago, the display said "very low refrigerant," so I put a can of leak stop and a reg can of 134 in and it worked fine for a few days. Then it looked like the freon was leaking and close to the belt drive track and pulleys. Now the compressor won't even kick on, it just blows the 10amp fuse whenever it kicks on. I even tried to adding more 134 to it with no outcome. I don't know if the system is unbalanced (high side/ low side) or if I have a bad compressor or clutch, or any other problem. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
As a mechanic I NEVER put that JUNK in ANY system, they clog up A/C compressor's and every thing elese. (You might have to replace most of the components in your vehicle now. ie condenser, evaporator, compressor, receiver/dryer (accumulator), orifice tube (thermo expansion valve) and you may be able to flush out the lines.
