Blower fan stops working after ignition switched off and on again. Then, it will work aging after car left for a period (overnight say). Sometimes retsarts if go over a bump. Resistor pack & switch panel replaced without success, fuses all OK. "Jamesrated" suggested removal of fan which is removed by 4 upward screws located under passenger foot well - can I check we are referring to RENAULT MODUS (listing car as RENAULT 181 was forced on me as Modus not listed). My garage tells me whole dashboard has to be removed to get to blower motor, and estimate 2 days for removal and replacement afterwards.
