If this is related to the fuel filling, evaporative canister issue, maybe the following will help. Most of the components for the fuel tank are located near the tank itself, with some near the front of the tank and the evaporative canister components behind the driver side rear wheel inside a splash cover.

The biggest problem people complain about is not being able to fill the tank without the pump stopping if the tank is filled at a higher rate than a trickle. This issue is caused by trying to overfill the tank after the fill nozzle has clicked off causing fuel to damage the evaporative charcoal canister clogging it and causing the blow back to the filler neck and fill nozzle, simulating a full tank shut-off of the filling process. This is not exclusive of Hyundai, and gas pumps usually warn of overfilling the fuel tank because of this known result. This evap containment mechanism was developed for the cars to replace the vapor collecting mechanism that gas stations used to use partly for the fill nozzle and collection dangers, now all that vapor is collected and safely burned when the engine is running. The evap canister can be expensive to replace, in the neighborhood of $150 from the dealer, and it's not recommended to try and bypass the system or you can create more issues than you solve.

If this isn't related to your issue, sorry, maybe you can post more info on what the issue is and how you need help.

Heater core

Sounds like a bad heater core. You will get steam/vapor out of vents from this. If you are referring to the over flow tube being the evaporator drain tube at the firewall its because the heater core shares the same case with the A/C and its filling up with anti-freeze.

When I fill the car up, at some point, fuel spills out before the fuel flow stops automatically as it should.

Hi, probably a clog or mis-positioned vent tube in your filler neck. FYI--- filling your tank on the lowest pump speed will give you more gasoline upon fill up. The higher the fuel delivery rate, the more fuel is vaporized in fumes coming out of the gas pump. Pumps are equipped with vapor recovery, so around 3% of what you are paying for is actually recovered and returned to the station's tanks via vapor recovery. Lower delivery speed reduces vapor, so you actually get more of what you are already paying for. Also, fueling when the air temp outside is lowest (early morning and late evening) produces less fuel expansion and less vapors. Fuel expands with heat, therefore you lose 2% per 10 degrees of heat due to liquid expansion. Lower speed will also help with your overflow issue.

When I try to put fuel in my 04 f150 it kicks the fuel system over flow on the gas pump

Don't put the fill nozzle in all the way... pretty common problem.... fuel vapors come out the neck fooling the nozzle into thinking gas is overflowing. Not only is it annoying, but the vapor recovery system in the pump is actually sucking gas (vapors) from your tank, essentially robbing you of gas. Always try to fill when temperatures are cooler, like early morning or night, to reduce vapor recovery.

Sounds like a blown heater core. It's an involved job that requires the dash board to be removed. Not specifically a dealership job but definitely a good shop. Realigning some dashes is a pain in the ****.
