1993 is a split year, if you have charging ports are a little bigger than the size of a tire valve stem then u have R12, if they are big then you have R134, most all Ford in 93 use R12. In the picture are adapters for a retrofit to R134, these screw on an R12 port, note the large cap R134 cap on the end of the adapter.

waterpump to be replaced is honestly cheaper to do it urself with a haynes manual then to pay a shop to have done trust me i got a quote of 700 for just the waterpump its only a couple hour job aslong as u dont mess up the timeing

have you replaced the ignition switch? not the key cylinder but the actual electrical switch, they are prone to this type of failure, pull the covers off the steering column and test the switch.

Firing order

for the 1993 probe i could only find a 2.5 V6. there are two banks of cylinders, odd and even. in other words as you stand in front of the vehicle the odd bank is toward the firewall, the even bank is closest to you.
the number one cylinder is on the passenger side toward the firewall and firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. hope that helps
