    Tks -where is the cat?

the cat is part of your exhaust system it is generally located in the center of the exhaust. Coming from the engine down and under the car you have your exhaust headers, then you resinator, then a small pipe then the cat, then another pipe then your muffler then your tail pipe. A clogged cat will take away power and when completely clogged choke your car and it will not start. Fuel is carbon based and I believe you will find that your cat is clogged with this carbon.

I can tell you this it is not the transmission based on what you are describing and its not the throttle body. If the transmission was the issue you will feel slipping not a loss of power as for the throttle body this would cause misses and again no significant loss of power. If fact you would notice spikes in the rpm.

SOURCE: isuzu d max 2004 ,3.0ltr automatic no power when

Check the transmsion fluid, its low or its slipping, look at the dipstick is the fluid burnt, is it low, vehicle in park engine idling in park pull the dipstick is it at the recommended level, if it not put it at the recommended level. there can be a transmission pump failure, where its not supplying fluid to the torque convertor, the fix is to take transmission out and replace the pump drive

No power and losing oil on my 2004 isuzu kb300

check that the rings were installed correctly as they can only be fitted in one direction otherwise excessive oil consumption will result. Check float level or fuel settings for the slow acceleration on slope power problems .

Hi, I just put new seals in my Isuzu Bighorn 3.1 4GJ2 injector pump, now it has slow acceleration, Why? Can I adjust the timing without a zero point gauge?

Moving a fuel injector pump with out the proper measuring tools is inviting total engine failure. As too far advanced will melt pistons . Check that there is no air in the pump by ensuring that the bleed screw is opened for the bleeding process.. The hesitation may be from the governor not reaction because of low fuel pressure(air) or a problem from fitting the seals . Best advice is to have it adjusted by a professional diesel pump repair shop. The dollars it will cost will be peanuts to what it will cost if you get it wrong

Rpm hunting

check for a vaccuum leak this is where i would start if it rolled into my shop. possibly a PCV valve sticking or a hole in the hose, this hose should run from the valve cover, or crank case and then to the intake, or carb.
