Question about 2008 Hyundai Elantra

1 Answer

My right side speakers have stopped working fully. When I set it to only right side, i have sound, but it is extremely low no matter how loud I turn it up. It also doesn't matter if it is set to just front, just rear or equal. Today is the first time I noticed it. I never crank my stereo up, so I am confused as to why it would've suddenly happened.

Could be worn volume-control (potentiometer), dust/oxidizing on wiper-track of same control.
Buy contact-cleaner spray, such as Servisol, McKenic, Kontakt or similar.
If linear slider-type volume, attach tubular nozzle/guide thingy to spray head, squirt cleaner into slot while zooming back & forth (stereo OFF).
This scrubs the contacted surface while cleaning.
If rotary type, remove stereo, open cover, locate volume control, squirt into control while dialling up and down.
Allow a few minutes to evaporate (quick dry spray is best).

SOURCE: 2003 Elantra GSL power windows don't work.

could be the driver side master window switch... if the driver side window switch assembly is broken then the windows will not work... try using a test light to see if you got power to the with and and ohm meter to check all four switches on the drivers side

SOURCE: Uneven tire wear on passenger side--front & back. Inner tread worn more than outer.

you'll need an alignment to determine if their is any parts failure

Why has the sound on my tablet stopped working

i do not what you have for a tablet but if there is a X near the speaker it is muted, try to right click the speaker when the volume # is showing left click on the speaker and see if it works. Collin it would be much easier to help if you gave more information about what you have for a tablet. It is like you are asking why the radio in your car is not playing.

Sound from one side of car speakers but not the other or very low

so many things that can be wrong. First step is to take the working speaker from the right, and plug it in on the left. If it works, replace the bad spkr. If not, it's a wiring/electrical problem, and will need more testing..

Loud grinding noise front end while driving. Hub bearing? Started a few weeks ago but not so extreme and usual only when turning. Now it is a loud metal grinding sound almost constant and seems to get...

Probably so. When making a left hand turn, if the noise gets loader, it is the right side bearing. IE... putting more wieght on that side of the car.

2001 Buick Regal, Rear speakers not working properly

Well the voice coils in the speakers may be fried, or on their way out. Has anyone been simply turning it up too loud, or too bassy, or at obscene levels.

if noise is excessive it may be low in power steering fluid .if this is the case it will make a moaning ,tearing sound.any car with power steering will make some noise when locked fully left or right.
