If it is the turn signal in the front bumper all you need is a screw driver to take the whole light piece out, then replace the bulb

  • ncm4910 Jun 08, 2009

also if it the orange parking light near your head light, pop your hood up and 2 screws are holding that in place. Your gona have to prop the metal bracket under the light, you will see a gap just take a flat head and pop it out, ensuring u cover the metal tip of flathead so u dont scratch your paint

SOURCE: Can't figure out how to change the bulb for turn signal on Jeep

it can be a pain because the screws are hidden. first you must remove the parking lamp raise the hood. one screw is visible from the top looking down at the lens...the other is hidden on the bottom side....look between the park laml and the turnsignal housing..a long phillip scew driver can reach it. once you have that removed lookng straight down at the turnsignal assembly you should see 2 screws. remove them and roll the assembly out and away from the body...you should see the bulb holder

2005 Saturn Ion front passenger turn signal not working

Did you replace the bulb in the passenger side running light/turn signal socket? There are two filaments in that bulb, one for the running light (which you indicate works) and one for the turn signal. If that bulb (filament) is burned out, it will make the turn signal flash faster. I don't know why you were swapping headlights, don't know where the fire box under the hood is, and don't know what a jumper sore is, so can't help you any further. I have a Saturn Ion, and have never found a fire box or jumper sore in it.

How do I change my front turn signal? I can access the lower signal from under the bumper, I can't access the signal that is next to the headlight. There are no screws in front to take the plate off,...

The signal light on the grill next to the head light can be accessed by removing the the front grill. Your going to need a torque screw driver to remove the grill to get to the light bulb. The signal from under the bumper can be accessed from behind the bumper and you need not to take the turn light assemble off from the bumper. There are LED light bulbs available now and last much longer then the conventional bulbs and cost not that much more. Auto Zone carries these replacement LED bulbs and they can give you the step by step instruction to getting the job done if you need more illustration. Good luck and hope this helps and please rate, keep me posted. Be glad to help you get your lights replaced.

Headlight

Well according to my mitchell manuel you don't have to.here is the procedure.
1. open the hood.
2.Remove the push-pin retainer's that secure the top of the upper facia and grill assembly to the upper tie bar to allow the upper facia and grill assembly to flex forward.
3. remove ther bolt and push-pin retainer that secures the top of the headlight assembly to the upper tie bar.
4. Gently pull the upper facia and grill assembly forward to access the bolt on the inboard side of the headlight assembly
5. Pull the headlamp assembly straight out to disengage the the snap in retainer at the lower outboard back surface of the assembly. Turn the assembly so that the inboard assembly clears the front facia.
6. pull the assembly out and away from the veh. From there you'll be able to access bulbs.
be careful not to touch the bulb with fingers or oil in skin will blow bulb.
Good luck.

Can't figure out how to change the bulb for turn signal on Jeep

I just changed both bulbs in my 1998 Grand Cherokee. These solutions made it possible, but i will offer some clarification and photos. First of all, all 4 screws are torx T20 as emoesmoe mentions, none are phillips. there are two bulbs that blink: the larger amber bulb is the turn signal light--dealer was cheaper than autozone and only had to purchase one bulb; the other bulb is called a side marker and it also blinks with a turn but stays on with the headlights. see photos that go along with the first two solutions. the first photo shows step one the first screw to take out. second and third photo are step two removing the second screw. the last photo shows the exposed screws to the turn signal housing after the uper light houseing has been removed:
