SOURCE: when i turn on my heat my 2004 trailblazer stalls

if this happens while the defrost of ac is turned on, it could be a seized ac compressor which will cause the serpentine belt to squeal and drag making the engine sometimes stall. if it happens with the ac off and the selector on say the floor, or dash vents, the issue could be a bad alternator and battery. this is confirmed when the blower motor engages and the lights dim and then the truck goes dead.

SOURCE: 04 trailblazer AC leaks

Rather than pay the dealer $350+ to fix this, I found the "L" shaped drain hose behind and interior to the front passenger tire (I let the car idle with the AC on and waited for a drip. On my back on groud I reached in and found the drain line and it came off i my hand and about 4 oz of water and some decayed matter floowed out. I reaced back in and found the hole to which the L line was attached. It was a rubber fitting on the end of a metal pipe. The fitting came off easily and then about 8 oz of water flowed out (carpet had been soaked for two days). I reattached the L drain line and noticed that inside the fitting was about 1/4 tsp of "mulch" - decayed leaves, pollen, etc. Reattacted the fitting and water now flows freely out the drain. And yes, its a very high humidity area - Houston, TX. And if you live anywhere near here you know about the intense yearly dispersion of Pine tree pollen. I thisnk that accelerates the blockage. Happen about every 2 years. (Third time for me. First two I let the dealer over charge me for this effort. BE SAFE WORKING UNDER YOUR CAR!

SOURCE: 2004 chevy trailblazer-Reduce engine power

You need to get the fault codes read to determine where the problem is that set the SES light. Autozone will scan your car at no charge. At some point you will need to get a mechanic involved to further diagnose the codes.

What causes my 2004 chevy trailblazer to overheat? I got the radiator replaced, due to a crack across the top from overheating?..I got the water pump and thermostat replaced too..Also the motor stalls

Well kinda sounds like it has overheated quite a few times, so unfortuanetly it's heads are probably warped and head gskts are blown causing compression from cylinders to enter cooling system which causes high pressure in cooling system which in turn blows coolant out and end result...your enj. probably needs replacing ! Sorry for the Bad news

For the stalling issue, the throttle body needs to be cleaned, grime in this area prevents the throttle plate from closing completely and allowing air to enter, making the air/fuel mixture lean.
The dead speedometer could be a bad stepper motor in the instrument cluster or a bad speed sensor on the transmission. If the cruise control is not working, the problem is most likely the speed sensor.

Chevy Trailblazer 2004 when i recently replaced my battery, and my ac compressor cuts on and off at stoplights and droppes the rpms too low to stay running

The throttle body needs to be cleaned, grime build up in the throttle body and throttle plate prevent the plate from closing completely and stalling the car. While cleaning the TB, disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes and set all HVAC controls to off position or fully counterclockwise. After reconnecting battery, do not touch HVAC controls, turn key to ON position but do not start, wait about 10 minutes then start.

2004 Trailblazer sputters and often stalls if fan, defrost, heat or air are turned on. Service engine light is on and coding for enine running too cool. Are these issues related and/or what could be...

First the throttle body needs to be cleaned, grime in this area prevents the throttle plate from closing completely and allowing air to enter, making the air/fuel mixture lean.
Engine running too cool means that either the thermostat is stuck open or the coolant temperature sensor is defective. Both should be replaced since they are in same area.

2004 Trailblazer: Sometimes dies while driving then won't start unless it sits awhile

first, there is no trouble code for the ignition switch that would show, exspecially if it is just a sparatic happening, i suggest getting the ignition replaced, you will get new keys and every thing with the new ignition set, this is the more likely cause of the problem.
