i am assuming that it is not a water hose as you have not mentioned water leaks.
this would probably mean it is part of the engine breather system, or the vacuum hose for the brake servo. a leak in eather of these would result in air being constantly drawn into the engine, giving a weak air/petrol mixture which will result in erratic performace and "spluttering".
replace the hose first. if the problem persists after replacing the hose, feel free to write again.
This is caused by a bad torque converter, take it to a shop and have the electronic part of the converter tested, did you try the performace shift button on the side of the shifter? this will disengage the electronic part of the converter. If this doesnt work I suggest taking it to a Professional transmission shop and swap converter.
You can try places like Jegs, Summit, or Northern auto parts. They all have many high performace pieces for engnines and transmissions. They are all mail order and have on-line stores as well. There are plenty more out there, you could even try doing a "search" for what you are looking for.
