Ad heater will come on but will not move after that it doesn't blow ac or heat.

Look under the hood behind the engine while someone moves the heat control knob. This thing moving is the heater control. Move it manually to free it. Or adjust or replace.

If you are talking about the belt for the ac compressor, yes the heater should still work.
If the blower is not working, you will need to have the blower motor checked for voltage and ground.

the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

If you have the heater directed to the windshield, the AC will turn on. Move the control away from defrost.
