I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata and I'm having the same problem, as i the engine loses rev (between 1250 and 1000 rpms) like when I brake, the radio and HVAC turn off and the dash lights and headlights dim for a second. it's not a big deal, but my car is out of warranty now and I don't want it develping into a bigger problem. I also have the problem with blowing tail light bulbs, but thought it was related until I found this thread, please help...

radio goes off for a few seconds; simultaneously dashboard lights blink on and off, sometimes stay on. The AC will also click off when this happens. I took vehicle in to be inspected and was told that main relay had a bad connection. He took it apart and reconnected and it worked fine for about a week and the problem started all over again.

I had a similar problem and Hyundai replaced the radio under warranty. Apparently there is a problem with these radios.

For Audi A6 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram.
The fuse for the radio is no.# 37 fuse: F37 (20A - yellow colour). See picture below:

There is a second fuse on the back of the radio, (10A - red colour), but you have to pull the unit to check & change it. This is only course of action. You need special Audi radio extracting tools, (two radio keys).

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have the security anti-theft code for yours Audi Concert radio from the car manufacturer! For Audi Concert the sequence of programming is:
1. Push simultaneous "SCAN" and "RDS" keys until on the screen will appear "1000" displayed.
2. Release keys. No more push on "SCAN" and "RDS" keys because otherwise number "1000" will be considered as first safe code attempt.
3. By the #1 key you will set up the first safe code digit.
4. By the #2 key you will set up the second safe code digit. 5. By the #3 key you will set up the third safe code digit.
6. By the #4 key you will set up the four-th safe code digit.
7. Then push again simultaneous "SCAN" and "RDS" keys for confirm this safe code. On the screen will be displayed "SAFE" notice. Release keys! For few seconds a radio frequence will be displayed. The radio is now ready for use!

We had a similar situation. It took the dealer a few days to figure out it was an issue with the wiring harness(es) in the center console - around or behind the transmission shifter.

On an unlit cottage road, I noticed that my headlights on my 2006 Sonata V6 dimmed for about one second on an infrequent basis.

As a precautionary measure, I would suggest taking the car to an autoparts store and have the alternator output and battery condition checked. Most parts stores offer this service at no charge. Sometimes dimming headlights can be caused by voltage fluctuations. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Lights dim and radio and A/C turn off together for about 5 second

Your issues has more than one cause. The shifting into 2nd and 1st are separate to the radio & A/C. The blinker circuit is ALSO separate to the radio and A/C. The electrical system needs to be diagnosed, starting with the battery & charging system... Then look for any bad gound circuits/cables... starting with the battery, then chassis, then any individual power components (TCM, A/C, Lights, blinkers, A/C blower motor & controls, etc.)

The dashboard lights on my 2004 Pontiac Vibe go off for a few moments or so and then come back on while I'm driving. All other electrics seem to be working; headlights, windows, radio, windshield wipers....

Fiddle with the dash light dimmer switch - may have a bad spot on the potentiometer. Replace the bulb in the console - probably a bad connection in the socket.
