The car accelerates it is an automatic but you can hear the turbo spool up and down perfictly / even when the accelerator is all the way down it will be gaining rpms but but it studers up the rpms causing the turbo to spool up and down it doesnt hold constant power please help o yeah the engine was diag but no errors or check lights
Likely a faulty diverter valve. If you have some decent mileage on the car the DV may be failing. It's a flimsy design with a plastic internal diaphragm. They're not terribly expensive (you can buy them at www.ecstuning.com or www.purems.com).
That being said, I'd still look around the turbo and intake systems for a loose, cracked, or disconnected vacuum hose - a vacuum leak should trip a check light but it may not always do so. Look for that, and if nothing is apparent, then I'd look at changing the DV.
A little bit of oil blow-by is normal but only a tad - if there's more than that it usually indicates that the turbo's center section oil seals are leaking, which means the turbo is on its way out. When the turbo fails, it is often accompanied by a "dentist's drill" sound as well, which is a sure sign it's on its last legs.
You could replace the line your friend pulled off (where the oil was) with a new line, and then check it again in a few days to see how much oil has come out in that time span, so that you can gauge how quickly the oil is leaking - that'll at least give some idea about how far along the turbo has come toward failure.
