I have a mitsubish RVR 2001 model, I want to know where all the engene sensors are located. My car stops/ cuts engine from running even when I am travelling but when I stop for some time, say an hour, if I start the engine, it will start running again bt stops itself after running a few killometres. if I try to start the engin as soon as it stops or a few minutes after it stops, it will not start.

SOURCE: 98 eclipse Engine stall but stars

Sounds like your IAC (idle air control) motor needs to be replaced. If you are driving on the Interstate/freeway/highway for a bit and then get off, the car dies when your coming to a stop right?

SOURCE: Mitsubishi Carisma 1997

its a very common fault with the GDi engine, normally first shows a fault after 60k miles. Fault will also make the engine feel slightly juddery on occasions whilst cruising... either/both Accelerator body or Cam sensor are the usual culprit. Both can be rather expensive.

Where is the pvc val located on 2001 Mitsubishi Galant

The pcv valve will be on the valve cover. It will have a tube coming to it. You can pull it out to remove it. Shake the pcv valve, if it doesn't rattle, it needs to be replaced.

1994 Mistsubishi RVR Problem with engine performance....

mine is also a 4D56, struggles to go above 200rpm, partly due to engine fatigue (at more than 140,000 miles), but the main problem could be the fuel pump, not properly calibrated with the engine fuel intake system. Take the car to a garage and ask them to check the pump. also explains he rattling when idle.

When does one engage the ''L'' gear when driving a mitsubishi rvr c

the L gear is Gear # 1 and likewise 2 is second gear, you utilise this in case you are going down on a slop especially icy or snow condition all it does is runs just on 1 or 2 respectively without changing whichh gieves more traction on the road.
