2005 Chrysler town & country touring won't turn over.

2005 Chrysler town & country touring. Turn key to start car, dash board lights light up, hear a click under the hood and a hum. Engine does not turn over (starter does not engage and rotate engine). This has happen 4 times. Repeated attempt to start the car sometime will get it started. The battery voltage is 12.3vdc. When the car is running the voltage at the battery is 13.5vdc. No engine light is on. However in the past the engine light has come on and gone off (a number of time for the last 3 years). When it was under warrenty Chrysler said it was probably due to the gas cap, and they did nothing to fix it.

Sounds like you need a starter, or you have a loose wire somewhere under the hood.

SOURCE: Passenger power window will not open.

We have had this happen in every town and country and caravan that we have owned. They will tell you that the window motor needs replaced. It will work for a while and then break again. Did I mention that the price tag to fix it is pretty hefty? A friend of mine told me that he fixed his with a salvaged window motor for a fraction of the price. The motor is obviously defective though if it breaks so easily.

You can find the Fuse Description in the 2006 Chrysler Town and Country owners manual (page 434 and next).

I really hope this helped (remember comment and rated this). TY for using Fixya.

If there is no power at either connector on the window the first place I would look is the harness that goes in between the hatch and the body. It is pretty common for the wires to break in that area.

How do I turn off airbag dash lite on 2005 Chrysler Town and Country

with the air bag dash(SRS) light on there is a code in the air bag module that has to be checked out in order for the light to go out. it could be something simple, or something like the clock spring in the steering wheel has a problem.

2005 town and country touring i want to disconnect the seatbelt warning light and chime?

1. Turn the ignition switch to the off position and buckle the seat belt
2. Turn the ignition switch to run (engine does not need to be running), wait for the seat belt light to turn off.
3. Within 60 seconds, unbuckle and rebuckle the drivers seat belt at least 3 times, ending with the seat belt buckled.
4. Turn the ignition key to the off position. A single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming.

It can be reactivated by repeating these steps.

The alert will be deactivated but the warning light will continue to stay on will the belt is unfastened.

Looking for what lights need come on when I turn the key to on in a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country Touring I am thinking of buying. A layout would be nice ...

The main things to look for are your Malfunction Indicator Light (also known as "Check Engine" light), your Antilock Brake warning light and your Airbag warning light. These are the things that will indicate if there are expensive repairs needed.

It might be a good idea to study the Owner's manual a bit so you know what you are looking for and where things are located.

You can download a copy of the Owner's manual for free at the Chrysler web site. Just click the link below and select the year and model.

Hi...i have a 2005 chrysler town & country sto & go LX 3.3L V-6 mini van....for some reason the brakes r acting up....sometimes they work sometimes the pedal goes all the way to the floor....master...

its sounds like it could be a bad master cylinder with an internal leak.it could also be a problem with the abs hydraulic module that for some reason is bypassing brake fluid within the unit itself.these problems won`t neccessarily turn on the dash light or activate the abs light.
