Hi I'm Rishan from Sri Lanka. The fuel consumption of my Sprinter Marino AE104 (4AFE) is close to 7km per litre. Recently I have serviced the car with Engine oil Mobil 10W30 & gear box oil changed. Replaced NGK irredium plugs, Tune up done, Air filter (Sakura) Replaced. Still the fuel consumption is high. Is there any way that I could do for my fuel efficiency? I'm running with 19/15/15 with light weight alloys. Pls reply me. Waiting for hear very soon. Thanx & Regards Rishan

Please do the following:
- Check and adjust the valve clearance.
- Check the valve timing. Timing belt may have jumped a tooth or it may have wrongly be installed.
- Adjust the ignition timing with strobe light to 8 degrees before top dead center with the map sensor pipe be removed (if it is a distributor type ignition system).

SOURCE: How to improve the fuel efficiency?

Consider getting this info on ADDING Hydrogen power to your fuel. Raises fuel mileage 25% to 50%+.
http://tinyurl.com/6zmchd

Imagine if it works - raise your fuel mileage to 21+ in stop n go driving, up tp 35+, maybe 40 mpg with a steady low cruise on the highway, at 60-62 mph.

only costs $170-$200 if you can do it yourself, if you can change pcv / oxygen sensors / plugs / fuel filters, YOU can do it.
Else, pay a mechanic an extra $200 for 2 hours work for him/her to install in 45 minutes.

My Daihatsu Terios kid 4wd kissmark 2006 is consuming too much fuel at 7-9km per litre. What's problem and remedy

There could be several reasons why your Daihatsu Terios is consuming too much fuel. Here are some possible causes and remedies.Driving habits: Your driving habits could be the cause of the high fuel consumption. Aggressive driving, speeding, and rapid acceleration can all increase fuel consumption. To remedy this, try driving more conservatively and avoid sudden stops and starts. Tire pressure: Low tire pressure can increase fuel consumption. Make sure your tires are properly inflated to the recommended pressure levels. Air filter: A dirty air filter can cause the engine to work harder and burn more fuel. Replace your air filter regularly to keep it clean and functioning properly. Fuel injectors: Dirty or clogged fuel injectors can cause the engine to burn more fuel. Have your fuel injectors cleaned or replaced if necessary. Oxygen sensor: A malfunctioning oxygen sensor can cause the engine to burn more fuel than necessary. Have your oxygen sensor checked and replaced if needed. Spark plugs: Worn or dirty spark plugs can cause the engine to run inefficiently and burn more fuel. Replace your spark plugs regularly to keep them functioning properly. It's important to have your vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic to determine the root cause of the high fuel consumption. By addressing the underlying issue, you can improve your vehicle's fuel efficiency and save money on gas in the long run.

My Toyota Noah sr 50 4wd gasoline fuel consumption not accepted ! What is the problem?

it would be blowing black smoke and running very sluggishly
for starters run the fault codes and fix the faulty sensors
check for a failed cat converter blocking the exhaust
consumption is calculated in liters per 100 KM
check that you do not have it in 4 wd on hard surface roads as that will seriously affect consumption

What is the best mitsubishi lancer 2000 / 1600 cc motor gas consumption ???? last time i checked it was 400 k.m per 41 liter . is it good or it could be better ?!?!?

the factory mileage for fuel should be 7.2 litres per 100km but the fuel consumption will change as the car gets older so its only normal but you could improve on your fuel consumption by tuning the car

hope this helps XD
