Okay you need to lift your trunk remove any carpeting remove hidden screws to undo light fixture be careful not to drop the case once case is in your hand remove the appropriate bulb that needs replacing after wards reinstall light housing/casing and screws good luck with this. Changed license plate bulb and dash indicator problem light still stays on


Check all tail light and brake light bulbs, look for any that may still work but look darker than the others, make sure to check the center brake light bulb on the rear shelf.

check and see if you are getting power to the brake light from the bulb holder.If your not getting power there then change the brake light swich above the pedal.Good luck

Burned out brake light (middle top light)


Take a putty knife and slide it under the front of the cover to release it from the area behind the back seat and pull it forward. Then twist the bulb holder out of the cover. The bulb pulls out of the holder . Replace bulb and reassemble.
