Replaced the resistor (or module as the dealer called it) and the heater motor still doesn't blow. Rear fan works fine all the lights in the control indicate the fan is on high but nothing happens
I'm assuming you checked fuses. You can use a test light or meter to check for power at the fuse, at the input of the switch, and then at the blower motor. Then check the motor ground to be certain it is good. Then you might spin the motor by hand to be certain it is free spinning. If all the above check okay, it is probably a bad motor. You can test that by applying power direct from the battery to the motor.

It is a bad blower motor resistor and it is mounted on the bottom of the A/C heater housing on the passenger side of the vehicle under the glovebox area. Hope this helps. Please rate this a fixya if it helps. Thanks.

I went through the same thing with my 99 suburban. It turned out to be the dash fan control switch. It is purchased seperate from the whole cluster for under twenty dollars. The instrument panel cover comes off gently by hand with the tilt steering in the down position. You have to then unplug the electrical plugs to get it out of the way. The heater ac control panel then comes out by hand far enough to unsrew the heater fan control from the back.

You have to take the glove box off and it is right behind it, need a #20 Torx to take it replace it. The glove box is the hardest part of the job, I just replaced mine on an 05 Grand Cherokee but it didn't fix it for me, was well worth the $8.60 to try though.

replace the A/C control head... very simple to do. Pop off the dash panel and pull the control head out... unplug the 3 harnesses and there you go.

Your new resistor should contain a built in relay. Sounds like that is sticking, swap the new part for another as it could be that you got a bummed replacement.
