I started the car yesterday morning and the oil light was flashing then it started to buzz, 10 min later the car shut off and it was like the battery was dead. a half hour later i tryed to start it and it did start but it was buzzing and oil light was flashing 15 mins later the car shut off. i needed a boost to start it right away. but when it shuts off by itself and if i let it sit for a half hour i do not need a boost. it will start.
I changed the oil and filter and oil switch today and it still does it.
please help me.
You are losing oil pressure, this means your oil pump is probably out. Don't drive it anymore until you can get that repaired. It's shutting down because it's siezing up. You need the extra power to jump it because the piston rings and wall are sticking together, let it all cool down and the rings contract and loosens up. Allowing the engine to turn.
