1992 miata fuse diagram, location of power window fuse I tested for power going to the switch .. have none.. do not have the cover on the fuse panel under the dash.. have no idea which fuse is the power window fuse or if there is a fuse for the power windows in the interior fuse box????? don't have manual..

Yes, you are correct, disconnecting the fuse box has broken the pairing between the key and the immobilizer system. Did you remove the main connection plugs to the fuse box? My thought is that those connectors have never been removed since the car was built and breaking a remaking the connection, you might have some connections that as not as good as they should be. Pull the connectors again and give them a good spray with electrical contact cleaner (that is NOT WD40). Then reconnect.

Yes, there is a relay and sometimes also a fuse, check the fuse relay box under the hood, on the box cover will have a fuse diagram. Also check the vehicle hand book for dash fuse box location and diagram.

Click on the link for part of wiring diagram. You can see fuse and relay in smart junction box. The smart junction box, behind right hand lower A pillar panel, passenger side. I can't walk you through it, because I'd have to look at it.

according to my info, you don't have a fuse, you have a power window circuit breaker.
I would begin by testing the wire harness on hinge side of driver door. If protective rubber boot covering, see if you can pull boot back far enough to see wire colors. Pink wire is voltage for power windows. That goes hot with the key on. Black wire is ground. If good voltage and ground, the problem is in the door, wiring circuit--master switch or window motor.
Some relays may be located passenger side kick panel near floor. Sorry, I don't have exact location for that relay.

Since you did not state that any circuits other than the power windows were affected, it is highly unlikely that a main fuse under the hood has blown.

The panel you're looking for is on the left side kick panel under the dash and should have a cover on it.

The power windows fuse is number 15 and is a 30A.

your owner manual has fuse diagrams.

the qtr windows go through the power window relay. If other windows work, not likely the relay or timer module.

you need 12 volts at this wire on the overhead console switches.

Measure the voltage between the power rear quarter glass window regulator control switch C903 , "O/BK" and ground.

If no 12 v, SERVICE the "O/BK" wire between the power window relay and the power rear quarter glass window regulator control switch.
The ower window relay is above and behind the fuse panel on the dash. 2 relays and turn signal flasher in same area. Turn signal light on to locate flasher. 2 bolts hold bracket with relays & flasher.

You will need to check all connections in door. Make sure to have a 12 volt test light, remove door panel and check window switch for power if ok go to motor hold test light to the hot wire to motor, use window switch does test light light up if so motor is bad.

I know thta, for a 2002 Ford Explorer, the 30 amp circuit breaker in location #62 of the power distribution box in the engine compartment is the power window circuit breaker. (unfortunately in the 2002 owner's manuals it is labelled accessory delay ) later years are labelled as the power window circuit breaker.
