Car won't start My problem: Each time I pump gas, my vehicle (2007 Suzuki xl7) will not turn all the way over! After I turn the key, and put it in drive, it just rolls as if it is neutral. I have to keep trying to crank it for about 5 minutes every time. The radio, lights, etc works however when this happens. Very frustrating of course.....I have no idea what the problem is. And now the check Engine Light has come on.

SOURCE: I have a 2005 Suzuki XL7 tire pressuer sensor that won't go out!

I hate tire pressure monitors, in this case it sounds like you have a bad one. if you take it to the dealer they will be able to tell you which one is bad.

2007 Suzuki XL7. What does the code P1693 on my Suzuki XL7 mean please?

Question edited for clarity.

Turbo issue, but because of the crank no start, you need an auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to diagnose that part.

My 2007 Suzuki mystery vehicle won't start.

When you disconnected the battery, you upset the anti-theft immobilizer. Try this Security relearn which is for a Suzuki XL7.

https://www.justanswer.com/car/5f9v6-suzuki-xl-7-reset-anti-theft-2007-suzuki.html
.

Unlocking Doors with Key or Remote should DisArm the Factory Alarm

If you think this is the PassLock Key causing the problem,
If you have "two" Keys, try the other Key
Otherwise you can attempt to "Relearn" the Key

This procedure will only relearn the vehicle keys.

This procedure will not learn the immobilizer prerelease password or the challenge/response data.

Do not use this procedure as a substitute for a 10-minute relearn when replacing or reprogramming a TDM or ECM. Doing so will result in a failure to learn the prerelease password and/or the challenge/response data.

This procedure will erase all previously learned vehicle keys from the TDM.

Once the 30-minute learn procedure has been completed, any remaining vehicle keys may be programmed using the Adding Keys procedure to ensure their continued functionality.

1) Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2) Observe the security indicator, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn off.
3) Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds .
4) Repeat steps 1-3 two more times for a total of 3 cycles or 30 minutes .

NOTE: The TDM learns the key transponder information upon the ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.

Start the vehicle.

The vehicle has now learned the key transponder information.

If none of the above are successful, then the use of Dealer Scan tool is needed to Test System.

Hope that helps you get back on the road Delores.

2007 XL7 hard to start when adding gas only.

Yup, evap canister related. Replace the gas cap first, then replace the evap vent valve, then the evap canister. Replace 1 at a time till you fix your problem. If problem persists, report back.

2007 Suzuki XL7 Runs great but has a Gas smell when parked, no Engine lights or codes just a gas smell , new gas cap too?

A mechanic would check the vapor canister to see if it is full of liquid gasoline. If it is, you would need to replace it and find out if the EVAP system is working correctly. It should only have fumes in it from the tank.

2007 xl7 suzuki wont start and says engine power reduced

does it click when you turn the key over, but will not actually turn over? if so this is a little sensor called an ignition module switch ( not sure the cost of your vehicle replacement mine for my truck was about an 80.00 fix) the other problem it could also be is the alternator.

Everytime I fuel my car it won't start, after waiting about 20 minutes it will start what is wrong? 2007 Suzuki xL7 100,000 miles

You have several issues. The not starting after fill up is an evaporative emissions issue. See the post below. The starter continuing to crank the engine after you release the key is a stuck starter drive
