Fried brand new coil in my truck. No signs of it going out just turned it off and then tried starting it and proceeded to figure out I had no spark. Bought a new coil truck fired right up.. What caused my truck to fry a brand new coil in 2 days? Did I just get a bad coil, Voltage regulator? Ground? I need help. $25 coil every two days I gotta stop this!

Check the running voltage to the coil
if it is greater tan the voltage on the case , check for a problem resistor or resistor wire to the coil in the run position

Trying to start the vehicle is there spark ? Your vehicle has plugs under center of valve cover .Pull the coil pack out , get plug wire cable set and use a spark tester . Check for spark . If plugs were no good you probably fried the ICM - ignition control module . Do you know what and where ICM is ? How to Test the Ignition Coils GM 2 4L Quad 4 The amount of dielectric grease has nothing to do with it .

My 99 Durango won't start.

If you don't know for sure, you will need to figure out if it is a no spark or a no fuel pressure issue to proceed.
If it is a no spark problem, check the ASD relay and the coil for voltage and ground signal.

Engine stumble

You were right in checking the fuel pressure. And yes the distributor shaft could be worn enough to be affecting the signal to the coil.
The coil could be weak too.
You would need to try to figure out if it is a spark or fuel problem to proceed. The throttle position sensor could be wearing out. But if a sensor fails it should turn the check engine light on.

Replaced plugs and coil pack on 2001 ford taurus now car will not start

You will need to figure out if you have spark to the plugs, and if not- if you have voltage to the coil to proceed.

Go to Autozone.com and register your vehicle and get a free wiring diagram and powerbox layout. Although it sounds like you have some info.

Sounds like something dependent on the injector circuit is smoked. A bad relay, a bad fuelpump, find out which connects through the injector loop that is not connected when the injectors are out. You should be able to trace it back.

I mentioned the fuelpump because it coasts until the injectors dump fuel into the engine and runs only shortly until the pressure regulator signals a need to kick in again. Perhaps a fuel pressure regulator?

Would be interested in what you find.

If you have fuel, replace the coil plate, you fried the diode in the coil plate causing it to not fire to test you need a spark plug detector light to see if your getting spark. If you just disconnect the wire and test it like the old spark plug system you will fry the coil or the diode in the plate, I forget what ford calls it, GM calls it a firing diode?? I think rusty memory.

1995 honda civic wont start!!

Replace the complete distributor. They are available on Ebay, brand new for a bout $100. or at any auto parts store for a little more. It sounds like the module inside the distributor popped but it could be one of the pick-ups, or maybe the coil as well. Rather than wasting a lot of time and money trying to figure out which one, just get a complete new distributor. It comes complete with a new cap, rotor, module, coil, pick-ups.
These are a very, very common problem.
