Hi this is a common problem in the trailblazer line the light brakes stop working on mine but it was really not the bulbs it was the socket I got a recall from Chevrolet to replace all the back lights with a new set but this did not fix the problem what happen is that the socket is not making a good connection with the bulb wires take one bulb out and you will see how the wires are black you can tell they got hot because they are not making a good connection and brake light stop working and to take then out open the rear gate and you will see the 2 screws for the tail light assembly once you get the assembly out you will see a 2 plastic connectors remove then and another 3 screws holding the light bulbs take those 3 screws out and then you can get to the light bulbs what I did to fix this problem I bend the wires in the bulb just a bit to make a better connection and avoid then to get hot once you get a bulb out of the socket you will be able to know better what I am talking about

SOURCE: need 02 trailblazer third brake light removal

Open the full hatch.
Pull down the weather strip near the rear dome light.
There should be a wire with a connector in it. Disconnect it
Close the full hatch.

Open just the window hatch. There is 1 screw on either side of the bulb housing.

SOURCE: How do I change the headlight on my 04 Trailblazer?

Hello;
Can't show you exactly, but is easy to take the grill out and change lamps while it is out! Grill has clips, you just have to un-clip it, pull two tabs on each side on the top and the whole thing comes out! (20 Minutes)

SOURCE: 04 Trailblazer Will not shift out of park.

Sounds like the cable from the shifter to the transmission probable snaped. It happened to me at the emission inspection station. What a nightmare. To check this you will need some help. Have someone set in the car and apply the brakes as well as the emergency brake just incase. Get under the truck and find the cable from the shifter to the transmission. Have the person in the truck move the shifter lever from park to another gear. If the arm where the cable attaches to the transmission does not move when the lever is moved it is the cable. They are relitively cheap and you should be able to replace it yourself.

Where is the Master Brake Cylinder on an 04 Trailblazer?

The master cylinder is on the firewall directly in front of the driver's position. But you can't just disconnect a brake line, you have to plug that outlet otherwise the brake fluid will come out of it.
If you don't know what you are doing, don't make the situation worse.
