I believe there are 6 general illumination bulbs plus 1 for each paticular warning/signal/trans signals-about 16 or so total

if its on when the brake isn't being depressed its a tail light bulb has blown out, if its on when you apply the brakes , its a brake light bulb

it is a rear bulb failure light,have you checked the reversing light bulbs...?

may have a bad lamp out module, but also good be blub on its way out drawing a little more amps then the rest that would also make lamp out light come on. make sure plate lamps,thrid brake lamp are working . if all works then leave it alone for a week or two,if bad bulb doesnt go out,then may be module box sometimes it could take up to a month or 2 forbulb to go out,,hope this help
