My 2000 ford crown Victoria. Have water on the rear passenger side floor. What could be the problem

Hey Grady..
There are few things that could cause the water intrusion... Is the carpet in the front floorboard wet?.. ..Has it rained recently? This will rule out window seals leaking? Have you opened the trunk and checked to see if water is in the trunk? OK..IF it has not rained, no water in the trunk, AND the front floorboards are wet, then the heater core is leaking...

Grady.. sounds like its either the window seals or the door seals.. check for damaged door seals, cracked window seals..

Water on drivers side floorboard . Why?

If you have a sunroof it could be the drain that follows the front pillar letting out under the front fender. These hoses are known to plug and crack open releasing water into the floorboards.

Driver side door check along top and front edge for tears or twisted looses sections. Internal to the door water can drain down along the window and is released outside the door seal. If the bottom of the door has the opening that releases the water plugged then water will drain over into the floorboard.

Water leaks onto the passenger floorboard during heavy rain

Floor plug or plugs have fallen out most likely. There Should be some plastic plugs under the floor board outside. Look to visualy check to insure they are still in one piece.

A busted heater core will flood the passenger side floorboard when the heat is turned on.

1998 Volvo C70 - water on floorboard after rain. Hi, anybody out there having experienced water on the floorboards after rain? My Car is always parked outside on the street, so the weather goes to work on...

most likely cause is water intrusion through the cabin filter

pull the filter
if wet then you need to find something that diverts water away
many OEM's have had this problem but nothing on file for this vehicle

Water in floorboard after every rain. 95 Dakota

the windshield could be leaking behind the dash,a good way to check is put the fan of the heater on,hot or cold and get a solution of soapy water and apply to the outer edges of the windshield and look for bubbles.

2002 Galant, floorboard on driver side completely soaked

try having an assistant 'water'' your car with a garden hose while you're in it.especially check seals at windshield & doors.it could take a few minutes of ''watering'' before a leak shows up.
