Can someone please tell me where the crankshaft positioning sensor is on a 1999 Dodge Intrepid 2.7 engine.

I am responding this way because all the experts get locked out if someone pulls the trigger on answering your question before they do.
You have a number of codes; alternator field, secondary air pump, cam and crank sensor signal lost. All of these must be coming and going intermittently because you say the car runs great sometimes. This really leads me to believe that you have a loose or bad ground somewhere. Go through the engine compartment thoroughly to make sure everywhere you see a ground screwed to the sheet metal or the block is tight and clean. Make sure the battery terminals and any accessory wiring to the battery is clean and tight. Carefully inspect the harnesses to make sure nothing has rubbed or burned through any of it. Next, look under the dash for the same things, loose wiring or grounds. Have a look at the PCM, remove the connector and apply some contact cleaner to the connections. If none of this solves your problem, I suspect you may have a bad PCM.

You're camshaft positioning sensor wil be located on the end of your valve cover on the oposite end of the pulleys and gears. Look for plugs around that area that are right on the cylinder head underneath the valve cover. If you have any issues I can look further into it and take a picture if need be.

HI, i couldn't respond to your question on the premium window so, i will respond in this manner. the car will run with the accessories on because the accessories are pulling a strong current threw the wires. once the current is shut down by switching the accessories off, this will provide a clear path for the cpu to notice the malfuctioning circuit. once the crank sensor is noticed, the ecm will adjust to the abnormal signals that are basically signaling that there is an artificail knock. this will make the ecm adjust timing and injectoer actions cuasing missing and stalls.
