Look for water entry into the front crash sensors behind the front bumper. They have bright yellow connectors.

What type oil do i use in my 2005 toyota echo

Have you looked at your oil fill cap? It should tell you what type of oil to use. I have a 2002 Echo 1.5l and mine says 5w-30. I also have a 2005 Pontiac Vibe and it has a Toyota engine 1.8l that is slightly bigger than the 1.5lmotor in our Echo and it also takes 5w-30. I think you would be safe using 5w-30; however, I would look at your oil fill cap.

Toyota echo check engine gas cap

In my wife's case it was that the neck of the filler (where it contacts the gas cap) rusted. It didn't allow a good seal. Since it was a 2005 we also replaced the gas cap in 2013.

I HAVE TOYOTA ECHO-2005. I washed the car and also the engine. but now the engine starting vibrating and going not smooth. What can I do. I tried to dry the fuse box. but to no avail. Please guide and...

I'm assuming that you have dried the other critical components: the ignition module, the MAF and the throtle sensor. In that case a sensor is shorted: have the car tested with a code reader and it will tell you which one. Now verify its wiring, if it's OK then the sensor itself is faulty, replace it.

2005 toyota echo two days before i wash engine. then engine working not smoothly some vibration and not going smoothly what can i do?

Sounds like you got the ignition system wet. Remove the coils, and dry out the spark plug wells. It would be a good idea to apply dielectrig grease sparingly to the inside of the plug boots.

Check engine light is on my 2005 toyota echo

The check engine light will come on for many different reasons. Could be as simple as a loose gas cap. If that's not the problem, then you need to get the code(s) read. Your car will require an OBD II code reader. In some states, the auto parts stores will retrieve the codes for you. Without a code, there is no way to say what made the light come on for sure.
