Camaro tranny trouble

If you Camaro has an electronic chip in you stared key , that I think is the problem , you need to take your car with your mechanic and take a part , at the end the steering column is a small Bering they need to change that Bering, the job is price to fix was $750.00, that's is the problem, happen to me and my mechanic change that Bering plus give me a new keys,. That little Bering is the one thing make the spark for the entire car can star. , he check my starter was right and after little willie he found it. The solution. I have same Camaro 92 V8 automatic.

check the key I have 1992 camaro rs I took it some where and parked it came out and went to start it and it didnt do anything key would turn over no sound no lights nothing. My key had that anti left chip pretty exspensive to replace key needs to entergrated into the comupter. Just a thought.

I would think the starter you need would be the 90 camaro one, and not the 89 blazer, as you still are dealing with a camaro tranny and flex plate. Inspect your ring gear closely when you have the starter off, and make sure the teeth aren't buggered. Let me know what you find. Good luck.

It is likey the clutch packs are burnt up or crystalized. You need a replacement ....

its not your crank sensor its your starter. i just went through the same thing. i have a 1998 chevy camaro 350 lt1. if thats not it its in your stering colum

Does it spin sluggish or faster than normal or normal ? If it was the oil pump it would still start. Unless the motor is locked because of lack of oil.

guess what, you have to buy a conversion kit.. or make one... had the same issues when i put a turbo 350 trans on my 85 camaro.... came stock with the 700r4

sounds like transmission shift solenoid also make sure ur plugs and wires are good or u can get a similiar prob
