SOURCE: toyota estima 2.2 td 1992 van overheating

the impellors in the water pump are prone to corrosion, especially if no or incorrect radiator additives have been used .this will cause water to stay in motor & boil whilst the water in the radiator stays cold because it cannot circulate.try flushing radiator ,installing a new thermostat (which is more than likely not opening )& radiator cap, refil with correct additive,.if the car still over heats then you will need to replace the water pump.bugger!!

Check your cables neg to engine block, positive to starter. Spark, fuel, oxygen needed to start. You ruled out battery, next place after cables is your starter.

Could you tell me where the fuel cut out valve is on a 1995 toyota estima 2.2 dti please

Hi Gaz, If we're talking about a 3L diesel engine, the fuel cut solenoid is mounted on top of the injection pump about half way along and has a single electrical cable. Toyota do not follow colour coding so I cannot give you a colour. What problem are you having? Regards John
