One is to a hydraulic pressure sensor that I would think will be around the transmission and the other is to the output shaft sensor. It also should be on the side of the transmission.

I have 01 monte carlo. The fan's are not working. Put a new censor in and relays. The fans are still not kicking on. Ran some code and one was PO 140 and PO 403 any idea what these codes mean?

as far as these codes they refer to the PCM signals to the o2 sensors ,but i don't think they would affect the cooling fans , does the engine overheat ? are you loosing coolant ? one reason the fans may not cut in is if the waterpump isn't working but you would have noticed lowcoolant , do the top and bottom radiator hose's get very hot ?if both hoses very hot and you've changed the sensor etc it may well be the actual fan motors , try putting a direct power and earth to the fan wire connectors , this way you will know if fans are good if they start , then the problem may be in the wiring , which can be a nightmare to trace , hope this is of some help

Po 1361 fault code

Unfortunately, I believe that code deals withIgnition Control Circuit Low Voltage. If your truck is not running, maybe you have a short to the Ignition Control. If it is running, you may have triggered this code while cranking it over while the truck's battery was low from it being awhile since it ran, etc. Good luck and hope this helps, Brian

Engine Code PO 300 and PO 316 came up when running diagnostic

P0300 is random multiple cylinder misfire and P0316 is misfires detected on start up. This is an ignition related issue. I would check the ignition system and tune up condition and proceed from there also if you have access to a sanner with live data capability check that you have and RPM reading when cranking the engine and the times it deosnt want to start this would indicate an issue with the crank sensor

Yes I have heard of it a few times on this site and it most often wiring harness related, bad branch out splices. Of course the PCM (ECM on earlier models) contains the ignition control module so it is also a suspect part.

Error codes po 134 po 153 po 154 po 155 po 171 po 174

PO 134 = 02 SENSOR CIRCUIT NO ACTIVITY DETECTED (BANK 1 SENSOR1)
PO 153 =02 SENSOR CIRCUIT SLOW RESPONSE (BANK 2 SENSOR 1)
PO 154 =02 SENSOR CIRCUIT NO ACTIVITY DETECTED (BANK 2 SENSOR 1)
PO 155= 02 SENSOR HEATER CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION (BANK 2 SENSOR 1)
PO 171= SYSTEM TOO LEAN (BANK 1)
PO 174= SYSTEM TOO LEAN (BANK 2)
I WOULD SAY YOU HAVE FAULTY OXYGEN SENSORS CAUSING THE ENGINE TO RUN TOO LEAN REPLACE THEM AND YOU SHOULD BE BACK IN BUISNESS

My wife ran off side of road and was not out of

check the wires to each wheel speed sensor for the ABS and see if any are broken away from the connectors. A branch or debry will shear the harness in two very easily. They are located plugged into the top area of each hub and bearing assembly

Engine Vibration

Low octane gas and a missfire could caused the knock sensor to send a signal to the computer which retarded the timing and caused you to loose power. When you killed and restarted it, it recovered. Maybe some new plugs are needed.
