Crawl under the Blazer and hit the gas tank with a heavy rubber mallet with the key in the on posision now try to start the blazer if the blazer starts up replace your fuel pump trust me if you fuel pump is stuck this can free it for and emergancy and you can get it some were
Check fuel pressure to the fuel rail to see if you are recieving fuel to the fuel rail if so the injectors are suspect
check to make sure the fuel pickup tube is conected properly to the fuel pump and didn't fall into your fuel tank not allowing fuel to feed the pump
it has fuel in the rail drrr injectors wont open
It runs and drives. But now the SYS has come up after test driving it. The problem still occurs to run as though something is clogged

Yes it is a fuel injected engine. Where is the fuel pressure regulator

According to the manual the fuel regulator is part of the fuel spider, that is the last new part put in
We have replaced the fuel pump, the fuel filter, the fuel computer and we can hear the injectors start and try to shoot fuel... What else could be the problem.. It will crank fine when you pour gas in the intake of the engine.....
Its a 1990 S10 Blazer and has been sitting for about four years. Its not getting fuel to the TBI so I changed the fuel filter, put in two new fuel pumps, cleaned all lines for possible blockage but the pump is still not pumping gas or even creating any pressure for that matter. Is there anything else that could be causing this problem?
Its a 1990 S10 Blazer with a 4.3L V6 and has been sitting for about four years. There is no gas getting to the throttle body injectors so I replaced the fuel filter, replaced the fuel pump twice, cleaned out all lines for possible blockages and the pump is still not pumping fuel or even creating fuel pressure for that matter. Any other ideas as to what could be causing this?
run a fuel pressure test to verify the fuel pump, then check injectors for operation, leave them in system but removed from engine see if they squirt fuel, this will only happen if you have fuel pressure. also verify power at the injectors with a meter. Do you have a check engine light?
check your fuel pressure regulator, then check the injectors it sounds like the engine is starving for fuel. Is it a multiport injection system?
no strart. if start dies immediatly, very little sound from fuel pump.fuel to rail on engine.
